Step Deck

A step deck, also known as a drop deck or single drop, is a type of flatbed trailer designed to transport oversized or tall cargo. It is similar to a standard flatbed trailer, but with a lower deck height and a raised front section, allowing for additional vertical clearance and easier loading and unloading of tall cargo.

Step decks come in various lengths and widths, with the standard length being 48 feet and the standard width being 8 feet 6 inches. They are typically made of aluminum or steel and are reinforced to handle heavy loads.
